As an Automation Expert, you will be responsible for developing automated systems, writing efficient code, and integrating automation tools into existing processes and systems. You’ll work closely with all teams to identify areas where automation can increase efficiency and improve business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background, expertise in automation frameworks, and a passion for problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that increase the efficiency of workflows, processes, and systems.
  • Work with directors to identify automation opportunities, streamline repetitive tasks, and eliminate manual interventions.
  • Develop custom scripts, tools, and solutions to automate daily tasks and optimise system performance.
  • Integrate third-party automation tools and platforms to enhance internal systems.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, databases, and applications to ensure seamless operation.
  • Monitor automated systems to ensure they operate correctly and identify issues for timely resolution.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for automation purposes, ensuring quality and scalability.
  • Optimise existing automation scripts and tools to improve performance and reduce errors.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and development teams to implement new automation solutions and improve existing processes.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and user manuals to guide the use of automation tools and processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems.
  • Address any technical issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems promptly.
  • Offer guidance and training to internal teams to ensure smooth transition of automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technical support or helpdesk role is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of basic support applications (Windows, PBXware, Gamma, Front, Hubspot), 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Customer focused attitude with a passion for helping others.
  • Basic knowledge of networking & hardware troubleshooting
