Zappie - Young Company Of The Year 2024!
As part of the process, Jamie and Freddie were invited to an interview for the growing business awards in the category young company of the year 2024. There was a day full of interviews and different stages where they were judged separately on Zappie’s growth story and how Zappie started to now.
From starting with just Jamie and Mike in Jamie’s bedroom to now building a thriving team of over 40 employees and office all in just two years. This achievement is from our relentless drive, visionary approach, and unwavering commitment to helping as many customers as possible, all while creating a great culture to work in.
At Zappie, we’re changing the way telecoms is delivered by doing things differently, putting innovation, customer satisfaction, and excellence at the forefront of everything we do.
Winning this award is truly unbelievable, especially given the incredible companies we were up against. It’s a moment of pride for Jamie, Mike, and the entire Zappie team.
This is what our Head of Marketing, Freddie had to say after winning such a great award:
We're absolutely delighted to win our first major award, a really special moment for the whole company. I've been with Zappie right from the beginning and have seen it blossom from just Jamie and Mike, to bringing in the expertise of Gary and smashing the first year with a tight-knit group, to now expanding into the Zappie Group with 45+ employees. It's been an incredible journey. I'm hoping it's the first of many awards!

One of the funniest highlights of the evening and something we just couldn’t leave out, was Jamie’s presentation of the Innovator of the Year 2024 Award.
Jamie walked confidently onto the stage, greeted the audience, and immediately went to open the envelope to announce the winner.
Before the host for the evening, Justin Moorhouse , shouted from the side of the stage to remind him to announce the nominees first!
Jamie (who may have had a few drinks at this point) decided to shush the crowd like he’s rifled one in the top corner away to the local rivals.
